A registered massage therapist since 1991, I received most of my training in Austin. I've also taken training at Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California, and continue with regular studies here in Texas.
In full-body table massage, I focus mainly upon relieving muscle spasms and envoking deep relaxation with flowing strokes. I also provide European hot stone massage, which allows for deeper work through softening of the tissues with the warm stones.
Chair massage is done with the client fully clothed, and focuses more upon compression stokes and acupressure. If you are unfamiliar with receiving massage, chair massage is a great introduction.
Chair massage: $1 per minute. 15 to 20 minutes is generally sufficient for a thorough treatment, but longer sessions can be arranged. I provide chair massage in Wimberley on Saturdays (and sometimes Sunday afternoons) at Rancho Deluxe on the square. http://www.ranchodeluxe.net
Table massage: $60 for 1 hr. minimum. Longer sessions can be arranged.
European hot stone massage: $100 per hour. This method requires more preparation and clean-up time, and a minium of 1 hr advance booking is requested.
